Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Because our items go into production quickly, we can only make changes or cancel orders within 30 minutes of purchase. Email us ASAP at help@sheplays.io with your order number — we'll do our best to catch it before it's printed.
Do you offer discounts or promo codes?
Yes! Sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of our homepage to get first dibs on drops, exclusive promos, and a little welcome discount on your first order.
Is my payment info secure?
100%. Shopify's checkout is PCI-compliant and encrypts every transaction. We never see or store your card details.
How long until my order arrives?
Every She Plays product is made-to-order, so it takes a little longer than off-the-shelf retail. Most items ship within 2–7 business days after you order and arrive to your door within two weeks of your order. However, some items can take longer. It depends on your delivery address and the customization on your item. Once your order is on its way, you'll get a tracking email.
How long does shipping take after my item is printed?
Once your order ships, delivery times depend on your location:
- USA: 4–7 business days
- Canada: 6–11 business days
- Worldwide: 11–21 business days
So total time from order to doorstep is usually 1–3 weeks, depending on where you live and the product you ordered.
Do you ship internationally?
Nope, not yet. Unfortunately, we are only able to print and sell within the United States.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll get a tracking link via email. If it's been more than 7 business days and you haven't heard from us, double-check your spam folder and then email help@sheplays.io.
What if my package is marked as delivered but I can't find it?
Bummer — that happens sometimes. First, check around your porch, with neighbors, and at the leasing office or front desk. If it's still missing after 48 hours, contact the carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.) with your tracking number to file a claim. If you need help, email us and we'll do our best to assist.
Why is shipping more expensive for some items?
Shipping is calculated based on the item's size, weight, and your location. Hoodies and multi-item orders ship at higher rates than tees or hats.

How should I care for my She Plays merch?
To keep your gear looking fresh:
- Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors.
- Use mild detergent — no bleach.
- Tumble dry low or hang to dry.
- Do not iron directly on the print.
Caring for it well helps your prints stay vibrant wash after wash.
Are your products ethically made?
We work with print-on-demand partners who use ethically sourced blank apparel and adhere to fair labor standards. Made-to-order also means we don't overproduce — so less waste, less inventory sitting around, and a smaller footprint overall.
How are designs printed?
We use direct-to-garment (DTG) and embroidery techniques through our partner Printful. DTG printing produces vibrant, long-lasting designs that feel soft to the touch — no plasticky vinyl here. Embroidered hats are stitched for durability and a clean, premium look.
What are your tees made of?
Our apparel is made from a variety of high-quality materials — most commonly 100% combed and ring-spun cotton, or cotton/poly blends for that perfectly soft, broken-in feel. The exact fabric is listed on each product page.

Athlete Drops are limited-run collections designed in collaboration with She Plays athletes — each drop reflects their sport, style, and story.
When do drops happen?
Drop dates are announced through our newsletter and social channels. Sign up to be the first to know.
How do I get notified?
Follow us on Instagram and sign up for our email list. Drop announcements go out 48 hours before they go live.
are drops limited edition?
Yes. Each athlete drop is produced in limited quantities. Once they're gone, they're gone.

how do I become an athlete?
Start by taking our athlete brand and style quiz here, or by filling out our athlete application. Our team carefully reviews every athlete who completes either the quiz or the form. Because each athlete is onboarded by our very human (and super talented) design team, we can only accept a limited number of athletes at a time.
Do not let this deter you from applying! Our waitlist is fluid and every week, dozens of new athletes are let into the program.
What are the benefits?
Athletes receive up to an 80% profit share on their drops, creative collaboration support, and a dedicated online storefront. You'll also become a part of the growing She Plays community. There's much more to come as She Plays grows and getting in early is definitely going to pay off.

We're sport-agnostic. If you compete, train, or coach, we want to hear from you.
can i apply as a team?
Yes — team drops are something we love to support. Fill out this team application and we'll be in touch.
How long does approval take?
We review applications on a rolling basis and typically respond on your admission into the She Plays beta within 2-3 business days. Within that time period you should receive either a notification that you're in and ready to begin the onboarding process, or that you have been waitlisted.

First of all, let us say – congratulations – you are in the queue to join She Plays. Stay tuned to your email, which should include timing on when the wait list will be opening up.
Why was I added to the waitlist?
You are likely deep in a long list of applicants. Because every athlete receives a personalized brand and merchandise experience, we're currently prioritizing athletes based on fit, timing, audience engagement, and design capacity.
This is not a no — it simply means we're not ready to begin your project today. But you are very likely to be off the waitlist and into our cue soon.
Your application is active and we'll reach back out as new spots open.
In the meantime, keep building your audience, sharing your story, and showing the world what you do.
I'm in! How long until my store is live?
Your store will be live within 3-5 business days of your final approval of your designs. The entire process and timing totally depends on how quickly you respond to our design team. So, check your emails and respond quickly to our requests to ensure a smooth and speedy launch of your She Plays storefront.
How often will i be paid for store sales?
She Plays athletes are paid once per month on the 15th of every month. Check your onboarding materials for more details. Any questions at all re: your athlete experience - email help@sheplays.io
returns & exchanges
what is your return policy?
The short version
- Damaged, defective, or misprinted items? We've got you. Email help@sheplays.io within 30 days and we'll make it right.
- Wrong size? We offer size exchanges at the customer's expense (more details below).
- Changed your mind? Because our products are made-to-order, we can't accept returns for buyer's remorse.
Damaged, defective, or misprinted items
If your order shows up damaged, defective, or with a printing issue, we are so sorry — and we'll fix it. Here's what to do:
- Email us at returns@sheplays.io within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number, a clear photo of the issue, and a quick description of what's wrong.
- We'll review your claim and, if it's an error on our end, we'll send you a free replacement or issue a refund — your choice.
No need to ship the original item back unless we ask you to. Easy as that.
Lost in transit
If your tracking shows your package never arrived, please let us know within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. We'll work with our shipping partners to track it down or send you a replacement.
Size exchanges
Unfortunately, because every print is made to order, we can not offer exchanges for size issues. This is why we strongly recommend you check the size guide of your item before ordering. They're our most-used tool for getting the perfect fit.
Wrong shipping address
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — we can't take responsibility for orders sent to the wrong address if it was entered incorrectly. If a package is returned to our facility due to an insufficient or wrong address, you'll be responsible for reshipment costs once we confirm an updated address.
Unclaimed packages
Shipments that go unclaimed and are returned to our facility may require a reshipment fee to send them out again. Unclaimed returns may be donated to charity after 30 days.
What we can't accept returns on
- Items that are simply unwanted (buyer's remorse).
- Items returned without prior approval from our team.
- Items damaged from normal wear, washing, or improper care.
- Sealed items unsealed after delivery (for health and hygiene reasons).
EU customers
Per Article 16(c) and (e) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made-to-order or personalized, or to sealed goods unsealed after delivery. Because every She Plays item is produced on demand specifically for you, we reserve the right to refuse returns at our discretion.

Email us at help@sheplays.io with your order number, photos (if applicable), and a short description of the issue. We'll get back to you within 1–2 business days.
Note: This policy is governed and interpreted in accordance with the English language, regardless of any translations made for any purpose.
Can I exchange an item?
Because our items are made to order, we don't offer exchanges at this time. Please review our full return policy above.
My item arrived damaged. What now?
So sorry about that! Email hello@sheplays.io within 30 days with your order number and a photo of the damage. We'll send a free replacement or issue a refund.
Can I return an item if I just don't like it?
Unfortunately, no. Because every product is made-to-order specifically for you, we can't resell returned items. Please use our size charts and product photos to make sure you're ordering exactly what you want.
