Samantha Gutierrez — known on the field as Sam — plays professional baseball for the San Francisco Firebells of the WPBL. She lives by the mindset "TGRTG - The game rewards the grind," believing that at the end of the day, you get what you put in. Her path from baseball to softball and back to baseball has taught her to trust the process, embrace the highs and lows, and most importantly, trust the Lord through it all.
